This modern, pavilion-style home is nestled on an acre of natural bushland, surrounded by Marri and Jarrah trees.
We love pretty Matilda. Its elevated position, veranda and lots of windows, make it easy to see kangaroos and other wildlife that come to graze in the bush below.
The beautiful beaches of Eagle Bay are only a 10-minute walk from this holiday home, and the nearby nature trails that hug the coastline offer some great sight-seeing opportunities. Spring is the time to see whales and wildflowers, but you can venture off at any time of the year to visit any of the local attractions, such as the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse near Bunker Bay.
The home consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a fully equipped kitchen with European appliances. The light and bright living area is simply delightful and features Tasmanian oak flooring and lots of warm and inviting touches. Reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout is a real bonus for those hot summer days and a lovely cosy fire will warm things up in winter.
After spending a day out and about sampling the local Margaret River region's produce, bring back some beautiful food and wine to enjoy on the undercover decking - The perfect place for casual outdoor dining.
