Fine dining ‘foodie heaven’ in the South-West

We have a brilliant idea for your next holiday.

It is well known that the Margaret River region has outrageously good food and wine, and the restaurants are something special. But on those nights where you can’t be bothered going out, you don’t have to miss out – you can have your own fine-dining experience at your luxury holiday home, complete with a private chef. That’s right; a chef will come to your house, whip up a dreamy menu, and you don’t even have to do the dishes. Or, if you’d prefer to prolong the food rendezvous, you can order a gourmet picnic hamper, cheese platter, or grazing board, and savour the experience over several days instead.

Tiller Dining

George and Kayleigh Cooper are the hearts and minds behind Tiller Dining – George is the executive chef and Kayleigh is front of house. They have a 50-acre Yallingup farm where they grow their own produce and host unique dining events on and off the premises.

George has been a star face at events like Gourmet Escape and Truffle Kerfuffle, so you’re in for a treat when he and his team cook for you. You’ll discuss specifics closer to the day so George can incorporate what’s in abundance and in season on the farm, and create a menu that is unique to you.

First stop, we recommend dropping by a farmers’ market such as the popular Margaret River Farmers’ Market, which is held every Saturday. Fill your bags with fresh fruit and vegetables, jams, chutneys, honey, homemade cakes, and biscuits.

If you want a hamper brimming with all the best goodies, look into The Larder Margaret River. Pick the basket that best suits your needs and budget and have an in-house picnic. There are all sorts of things on offer, such as Margaret River Reserve Double Cream Brie, wood fired bread rolls, char-grilled za’atar-spiced chicken sticks, and Pemberton smoked chicken pate.
