Join a winery, brewery or food tour or create your own self-drive itinerary. Nature & adventure

You are truly spoilt for choice. Tour a magical caves. Closest to Margaret River are Lake Cave and Mammoth Cave. Go off-road in the majestic Boranup Forest – either in a 4WD, a Fat Bike or Eco-Quad Bike. A visit to the Margaret River is a must, and to do it in a canoe or on a SUP is advised for the full experience. Surf at pristine breaks at Surfer’s Point (home of the Margaret River Pro), Contos, Redgate or Gracetown. Take in a section of the Cape to Cape Track ride the Rails to Trails cycle path or just hang out at a stunning beach like Gnarabup or Prevelly. Annual adventure and sporting events include the Cape to Cape MTB, Margaret River Ultra Marathon, and the World Surfing League Margaret River SurfPro

If there’s one cultural thing you can do while in Margs, visit the Margaret River Farmers Market on a Saturday morning. It’s the place to celebrate local produce and stock up on all the delights of the region. During summer enjoy the Town Square Friday Night Markets with food trucks, and enjoy the many choices of wineries, breweries, restaurants and cafes to dine in for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Art lovers will adore Red Sea Gallery and John Miller Design showroom in town, adding to his original Yallingup jewellery workshop.
